Running is now my number one sports. Eto lang ang kaya ko (this is all I can do). I can't afford to go to the gym, I always don't have time, beside in running, I can do it anytime, anywhere. Running is fun, especially if you found a running buddy, or buddies. My target goal for my 3K run is 15 minutes, so far I haven't reached the goal yet...well, my latest stats with Run United 2 last August 21 at Bonifacio Global City was 29 minutes and 47 seconds, not bad for a 165 lbs, forty-niner. Joining fun runs lets you meet new friends, enjoy early morning jogs with your buddy, especially if it's your loved ones, super bonding talaga (really)!
I have committed to improve my health and my life since I was diagnosed with diabetes (high sugar level). I have taken the first step toward achieving a better life. Of all the healthy habits I can establish, exercise is more important. Daily walking from home to my office deliver as many benefits as all my eating strategies. My walking routine now takes higher level - running as far as my heart and feet delight. On weekends, my sister, my son and I, either run at the Sanctuario de Carmona (the only memorial place in Carmona, Cavite)or sometimes we took the road going to the Manila Jockey Club. It's a little bit uphill and tend to pushed us to our limit, but it's worth it. Now, I committed myself to join one running event every month. And my next run will be on September 4 at the PICC Grounds, a fun run sponsored by the Civil Service Commission to commemorate the 111th year of the Philippine Civil Service. This time, I get to run with my office-mates, who I think, really need to do something about their bodies...hahaha.

Investing in the Stock Market
I have been investing in the stock market for about three months now. I am proud to say that I've enjoyed it so far. I have a mentor who taught me what to buy, when to buy. You don't need a big amount to invest, if you have a regular income and you really want to save for your retirement, then I recommend the method I am using. All you have to do is invest in small amount every month, I can even indorse you to my mentor. If you are interested, you can check his blogs and see for yourself. www.bosanchez.com

Welcome to my blog
It's been a long time since I've visited my blogger account. Two things: 1. Been busy with work and personal problems filed up; 2. I've forgotten my blogger account details (i have to look for my tiny notebook).
Well, back to reality..life has to go on, whatever problems I have now is raise up to God, God is much bigger than my problems. God is good, He will never leave me nor forsake me. I stopped wishing about "God, where will I get money to pay for my financial obligations, or Lord, please help me, my time is running out...enough of that. I am confident that the Lord knows what my situations is, He sees that I am doing my best to solve it...circumstances is just getting on the way. Bakit pa ako magwiwish ng kung anu-ano, the Lord always gives me whatever I wished for. I think I am the most blessed person in this whole wide world. Even if I'm facing this "noyoucannotaffordtosleepbecauseofyoursituation," I have to move on. Now,I realized who my real friends are, my family is very supportive of me, my co-workers love me.

Ikloy Springs
Ikloy Spring is located in Indang, Cavite. Actually, it is being used by Indang Water District as their pump station. Fresh, running water abound in this area. For those who are not used to trekking down a hill, it'll be a punishment. What with their "bitbit" (carry ons) like food stuff, and everything. But, for the likes of me....ahhh..it's a small feat. Ikloy might go unnoticed given its typical barrio style surroundings. But once you've reached the downside slope...voila! all your hard effort will come to an end. All your tiredness will be long gone, once you smell Mother Nature, feel the cold wind on your skin and hear the tiny waves of water running along this river.

A prayerful Lenten Season
During this season of Lent we are expected to undergo a metanoia or complete change of heart, i.e. to be willing to amend our sinful ways. Here are some guidelines to help you have a meaningful Lenten Season:
1. Praying - Set aside a special time for praying. You may go to the chapel or any quiet place to talk and listen to God or you may spend few minutes each day reading biblical passages.
2. Fasting - The code of Canon Law prescribes that Catholics between ages 18 to 59 are obliged to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday while those who are 14 years old and above must abstain from meat during the above-mentioned days and on all the Fridays of Lent. However, it is important to take note that fasting does not only mean fasting from food. It also includes giving up a favorite TV show, anger and resentment, discontentment, bitterness and resentment, judging others, saying unkind words and anything that keeps you from being closer to God.
3. Doing charity works - Repentance is the main reason Christians commemorate Lent. You can show by serving and helping others. Forgiving others, listening and obeying your parents, teachers, elders, friends and everyone for that matter.
4. You may also reflect on the following questions: Do I take time each day to talk to God and listen to Him? What can I do to make myself a better person?

Practical tips to make your life easier
Make your life easier..how? Here' some hints and trick for you.
"Everyday write down something good that happened to you." Have a camera handy to record happenings in your home, preferably in your garden, if you have any. Set it in the same place and take photos of different times of day during summer. Let your kids make what they want for lunch or dinner, then serve it picnic-style outside..in the backyard, or even in a small space outside your house. If you plan to travel, toss your packing list into your suitcase, use it to recheck everything at the end of your stay.

Destress without food
There are plenty of healthy ways to reduce stress. Think about what makes you feel the most relaxed during your day, and go from there. For example: Write in a journal, I personally discovered that if you don't have an outlet in releasing your thoughts, writing is the best way. So start writing! Take a walk, go around the block in your office. Pray or meditate. Try a new hobby, make time for what you love doing!
